what the best way to stop cheaters from joining my server this is for bhd ts

there was this one thread that talked about this one file that had ALL the names of the people that have been banned from servers, add those names to your "not invited" list

True ya can ban by names, only issue is when they use a bunch of names of people you know lol.Really its impossible to keep cheaters out unless you punt them everytime they come in.Yes, you can password it but people wanting to play cant get in without it so not sure how you would give people ya dont know, the password and be able to tell if there one of the cheaters.

Good thing they have made it easier to ban cheaters permanetly or most atleast by requiring login in Joint Ops.Many think they cant but if a person is required to sign into Nova and play then all someone needs is there PCID which anyone can look up and see on a person.The PCID gives a list of names they use.No matter if they delete Nova will know.Cause only one person can use that name, the same way at once in Joint Ops.

With the PCID to a persons account it will allow Nova to know whos doing it and ban there account.Without an account they cannot play Joint Ops nor without a cd ke.,So if Nova sees the same cd key registered or same name again chances are they will keep banning that person.But theres still one flaw im not going to say of how they have a slick way back into the game but they can keep getting banned no matter what.

yer that could work try adding the name i know one cheater he was in my server SOS add that to the list lol.

Not a great idea!He can easily change his name or what do u do when they use someone elses name you know and start cheating under there name.Ban there name so your friend cant use it anymore?Thats why its bad to do that.Someone else might own the name that plays in your server.

If you set the server to require novaworld log in, you can ban players based on their player PCID.

But then you cant used hexed names in your server.

Nor can you use the Pinger!Many including myself use the Pinger and Name Editor Utilities.Its so hard in DFX,JOTR,and JOE all due to the fact you cant use hexed names that theres like 20 squads say CP using -CP- as tags.I therefore did what i could to create an creative one such as -.CP.-

host option make all log-in to novaworld!

log-in if they use the "by pass" then it be hard to keep banned players out.

you can report them to novaworld if you found a cheater's in any of their stats servers.

PCID work really good, but keep in mind take a closer look at that name you looking at!!

copycats can fool other to think the players other seeing is a cheater and not the real guy.

sample:
lower case "L" look the same as Capt I same thing other way too. there are many other type charters as will.

and all so hotcat vs hotcat.

so you should really think before you make that big step and try to search the player when they are in the server and not say a word to them about it, give them a chance to change thier players name faster.

1.) write the name down or take a close up SS of their name.
SS is for you to read up close the name. to see how it spell out.

2.) Novaworld search player name, lookup the PCID it be listed ether in their stats page or forum name.

3.) now do the player report send it in, copy and past the PCID number into the Players report, so they know who you reporting on incase they change their name.

Players PCID Number you can tell what other players names they are using all so by doing a player search using the PCID number.

and Cheif is right EA has nothing to do with Nova anymore Nova Seperated from EA along time ago

EA makes way better games!But i still like to hit the BF ever so often on JOE and thats about it!
