ok dumb question how do you go about getting a perment sever I`ve notice some squads always have 1 up even when nobodys there skipout®

Called a dedicated server, some people have a good enough connection to host 1 themselves but most of the time u need a company to do it (costs quite abit ofd money)

Best one I know of so far. Also, if you click host options, go to Serve, instead of Serve and Play. This way you will only see a Black screen with all your host options. It will show 0-16 players( or however many you set the server for). You won't be able to see the terrain, but you get many more host options and stuff. That is what a dedicated server is.

OK it's gonna kinda be the blind leading the blind here but here goes lol

I don't have alot of experiance w/ this and i'm by no means a tech but w/ a good cable connection and a dedicated server you should be able to host w/o too much problems. My squad had our server on a T1 connection and had to move it to a cable conection, it didn't seem to make a big difference in lag w/ a 16 person server. The main benifit to hiring it done is you get tech support and they fix the problems. Take it from me, if your computer illiterate like i am it can be a real pain to keep it all working.

But for the cost of having it hosted you can invest alot of money into hiring techs and buying equipment and still come out ahead over the course of a year of serving.
