celphone connect to internet?

any one use their celphone to connect to the internet and if so tell us good thing about it and the bad side of it. if you did use a celphone in the pass go reply then.

if you don't use a cel-phone to connect to the internet don't reply to this thread.

That depends on your phone's ISP. It costs loads to download a few megs probably...

Never used it.. Don't really see a point since it costs alot, most websites don't work and the screen is tiny and difficult to navigate. Depends on what kinda phone your talking about though.

I can use my current Cell, Nokia N90, as a modem to connect to my phone service provider's Net. I have not tried it but I guess it works.

i think i'd have to be pretty desperate for something to browse the net on my mobile. i have a big screen and a proper internet explorer so it's not really a problem, i can view NHQ for example and see all the images exactly as it is on my PC, except its difficult to navigate becausethe res is much smaller than the PC. i did make a post in the forum from it to it's ok when i'm at home because i use my home internet via WiFi to browse the net (no extra cost). but you're paying out your ass to connect via GPRS
