Help (again pls)

Hey, this relates to my other problem that I was having with the df games but I thought more ppl would read a new thread if they'd already seen the other one.

Well anyway, nova weren't exactly helpful in the slightest possible way, only to tell me that DF2 and DFLW shouldn't work on XP, great lot use that was.

TFD still won't open up, but I think its something to do with the update because I re-installed it into another folder, and tried the game before I updated it, and it shutdown in the game, and caused the same error that DF2, LW and BHD are causing, but after the update it just wouldn't open at all.

I've found out some more about when the game shuts down as well, I've found that its when i press 2 keys at the same time (i.e. up and left to run diagonally) and the error is

"NULL

A system error has occured"

I'm starting to think I may have a virus or somethin lurking in my pc, but if anyone has got any suggestions as to how to fix the df games pls let me know.
