i have vista that i installed on my desktop and actually dont mind it. I got a new laptop that came with vista pre installed. I hate vista after getting this.. It runs like crap on the laptop. Both the laptop and the desktop have 2 gigs of ram. The desktop is running 64bit ultimate where the laptop is 32bit home basic but still it shouldnt run like crap.

How does it run for you? Also installing it on that will probably have driver issues but still is cool

Well, after much delay I've successfully installed Vista Home Premium under Parallel Desktop. Everything is work A OK. Only thing which I needed extra was a USB Wilress G Adapter with Superboot.

Work fine under Mac Books Pro - 1 Gig and 1 intel processor dedication.

I want to get vista ... but god damn XP barley installs on this computer. To install XP i gotta unplug one ram stick and re-wire my dvd-rom drives to make the burner a primary ..

rewire it eh, please explain how to rewire a removable media drive or are you talking about jumper pins for slave/master? and remove ram? i dont see that at all. XP wants ram 256 min and vista wants 1024.
