LOL its not XP and the / a firewall. Clearly if it works in version 1.0.0.5 (Right out of the box) then doesn't in 1.1.0.10 then Nova has F'd something up.

Just wanted to add this:

Someone posted (maybe at dfbarracks.com?) a fix for this, but IT DOES NOT WORK so don't bother! hehe The post read something like change the maxping to 50000 and set the domaxping to 0.

Firstly, the 50000 wouldn't matter if domaxping was 0.
To Re-state: IT DOESN'T WORK lol

I'm also trying to diagnose it, but the more I play with it the more it points to a Nova problem. If I happen to find anything I'll post it

Some of y'all have good relations with Nova..In that they are not responding to this latest problem or inquiries could you let them know about it and find out if a fix is coming.....Im about to return this to the place i purchased the game for a refund and buy either 1942 or MOH.....

Playing out of the box is the previous patch. Or rather the lack of one. And no, the reason you don't see many servers isn't because it's the demo, it's because you can only view the servers that are hosting the current version you're running. It's just that most people are running the patch now. Hope that makes sense to you. I know I didn't explain it very well.

Anybody seen the crap where a sniper goes prone, then turns transparent like the damn Predator? It actually looks kinda cool. It would look really cool if it weren't a Delta Force game, but a Predator game instead...

Colostomy, I think thats supposed to be that way. It happens when your are looking at an enemy at a certain distance. When he is far away.

I have seen ppl at 20m vanish from me but i think thats lag cause they reappear a few secs after. The snipers far away that are transparent I think Nova made it that way so they would be alittle hard to see because there is not much folige on these maps.

No, I'm saying they turn transparent. Not lag. They don't reapear in a different spot. And not always real far away either. They turn transparent. You can still see them, just barely. It's no big deal though, as I hunt snipers by sound rather than sight anyway. Just something weird I've seen.

may be they made it that way? think of it a sniper wearing what a super good ghillie suit may be its stand for all sniper's
like in DF2 it has it as a option to use.

but in DF:BHD it maybe a stander item for snipers not a option to pick for.

I have also been kicked from Nova servers for no reason. It happens everyonce in a while.

Chief, if I didn't know better I'd say you work for Novalogic, the way you're covering their collective asses . It's a mistake, man. If they wanted to put ghillie suits in, they would have. It's not like they didn't have enough time, that's for sure. We don't say wall glitchers are using a super good ghillie suit, because we know it's a glitch. Well, what's the difference? Both provide the user with a hard to find with the naked eye cover. It's nothing like a ghillie suit. The ghillie suit doesn't suddenly come on when you go prone, and can only be seen at certain distances. It's on all the time. More like a damn Klingon cloaking device.

Still AutoPunting problems v1.1.0.10


I still get the autopunting problems on new version when joining a game about 5 sec it autopunt me..Please help me solve or i'm just have to play original v1.0.0.5

Has Nova done anything about this yet? I am extremely frustrated after paying 40 bucks for a complete package and being reduced to solely playing the single player games. I updated and reupdated. My computer is top of the line so can safely assume the problem is not coming from my end.

Is there any HELP out there? I have surfed for solutions and have found nada.

when i run thru a smoke grande the game is going mad
and i run fast
i have windows xp P-4 geforce mx 64 ddram 524 sdram system memory
the game is being slow if a lot is happen in the game
i mean shooting and explosion
i am totaly disappointed from this game that i waited so long

Asher, your having a graphics problem, your graphics card cant handle it. You have to turn your settings down and it will be better.

Dear Novalogic Customer,

After releasing the latest update for Delta Force Black Hawk Down we discovered a number of players with lower end video cards were getting punted from games, or were punting people from games that they were hosting.

A new update addressing this issue is currently in the works, but in the mean time you can simply uninstall the game and then reinstall, this time without running the update. There are still a number of multiplayer servers
running on the old version that will allow you to play on-line while we program and test the new update.

Note: This info applies to DFBHD Version 1.0.0.10 only - anyone on version 1.1.0.5 can disregard this message!

ok i got the prob solved on my Sys Dump the............ 43.45_win98........Nvidia driver fixed the lock up and Sys Dump,, thanks to the info post by...chief-ADFP...saved me some heartache, thought i had the latest drivers till i read his post
