Vnc
Ack! I have Windows 2000 and for some reason I cannot connect to it with real vnc or tight vnc from computers that are outside of the network.
I have even tried disabling the firewall. I also forwarded the correct ports etc... Any ideas? Could there be anything else I would need to configure?

might be a stupid question, but you're not trying to connect to the LAN IP address?

Nah and I figured it out.
It was flipping Zone Alarm even though I turned the security off it blocked the ports. I had to shut it down and once I did people could connect.

think if you right click on it will show the option, not use zonealarm in ages so don't know if it change any

Hmm, I am going to mess with the settings to see what I can come up with. For now it works.
