Help on a mission needes badly...

I desperate need help on the Team Sabre mission "Attempted Arrest"...
I just can´t get past the granate thrower a bit in the game.
I tried to run to the ruins to hide but I always get blown to pieces.
How can I get rid of him...
I have no more saves left.

Cheers
Sepulcretum.

All you need to do is blow the guy off the grenade launcher and look for different ways to approach the target. Use a PSG1 in the mission if necessary (it'll help later on in the mission... trust me ).

You've got no saves left?! My advice is go to a previous save, or restart the mission, and ration your saves out. Don't save very often - save very rarely, like after you've done an objective or so.

The mission is really long, so do ration your saves.

Okay...thanks for the advices.

One thing I don´t understand about the savings...if I restart the mission will I be able to do new saves or?
I read the manual on this but I just don´t get it.

Is there a way to delete my old saves some way? (I know it would be like cheating but this is just not fun anymore )

Cheers

If you restart and save, it'll overwrite your existing saves.

You can delete your saves by doing to your game folder and deleting the .bmx files and .pcx files associated with the missions (they'll have stuff like "0spbhd" or "0tsbhd", etc. in them).

Okay! Thanks for all the help!

I noticed that, when re-playing the mission, that all of a sudden the mission fails and it says that the pilot died even when I am far away from the spot where he is. Is that common and a result of my playing or is is because of something else?

I actually offered my son $ 10 for clearing the mission for me...but he´s playing Counter Strike and just laughing at the old man trying to survive at war.

Cheers
