I'm reading the complete collection of Sherlock Holmes. I've already read it, now I'm re-reading it I tried some Poirot a few days ago, but he seems like a bumbling idiot. Besides, I don't like Agatha's writing style...it's just bland. |

Right now I am actually reading a non-fiction book called Fingerprints, which is, ironically, about the history of fingerprints. It is a quick read, with real life stories that are interesting and facts as well. I will have to edit this when I remember the author, the book is upstairs right now. But if you have a school project for non-fiction I would recommend this book it is a good read for non-fiction

Unjust Enrichment. It's about how Japan's companies built postwar fortunes using American POW's in WWII. Very interesting read.
This is a subject they don't tell you about in your high school history class. Sure, they go over it a little by briefly touching on Bataan, but that is nothing. |

At the moment I'm Reading Eisenhower Soldier and President by Stephen E. Ambrose author of Band of Brothers and many other historical works.
It's an in depth book of how General Eisenhower led the greatest seaborne invasion in the history of the world to the final defeat of Hitlers Germany by the allies and his rise into the political world and eventually the presidency of the United States. From his early days to the last days of his life this one man was a beacon of all that is good and great about America and it's peoples and the determination of one individual to surmount the seemingly impossible and to over come it. A fascinating book that I would highly recommend by this superb author. Regards |

Ambrose is a good author. Band of Brothers is a fantastic book. Much better than the series, and the series is the best movie about war, i'd say. But literature is always better than television anyday.

the Da vinci code just capured the imagination of people and it got out of hand, its a good book, but its not that great a book IMO, like i said i preferred angels and demons similar style to the da vinci code but IMO better. You can really compare deception point and digital fortress with the DVCode totally different style (not genre) again. They are worth the read....
I very highly recomend books called Temple and Ice Station by Matthew reilly, there more like a movie than a book. He really has the ability to keep the action going, but hes sorta dropped off a bit so read his early works |

Thats the problem with young people today, they are impatient, its a pity cause a good book and a bit of imagination can beat a movie any day of the week, im not talking about you specifically Edge, its true for alot of people under 20...

way the book tell you how things look and the location of the area. it was like watching a movie in my mind action was really good. basic it was a inner war two half of the world of darkelf taken contour of their world. one like to be the king of it all and the other did not care to be the king at all he was next in line for it.
