Counter Strike Help

Ok i think my disc might be f****ed but i hope not it has a few scratches and i cant find a Manual Install for it anywhere cause it might work but when i go to install it, it aborts like 49 percent of the way and says somethings bad take a look
i bet its a bad disk if so that sucks cause ill have to spend lots of money unless i can do one of these 3 things!


1.Is ity possible if someone just sent me the installtion/setup file needed to install the game or the one shown thats corrupted and have it work from there? One dude told me only way he would if i joined his clan but ill remember him if he ever needs anything!

2.My friend told me he bought a electronic scratch remover would it be possible to use that and see if it helps i know it wont remove them all but anyways i doubt this will work but what about this???

3.What if my friend burns me CS and i use my CD Key for CS is it possible to use another copy of any game and use the CD Key for your missed up copy and get it to work on the new copy without any issues? Ive always wondered this cause i dont see how it could hurt anything?

try to burn the disc,i know it worked for mine DF2 disc. That 1 had scratches all over the place.

Nope Katana wont work my disc is in to bad of a shape i may have to have someone burn there game for me and use my own cd key if it wont cause any problems think it would? If you use a different CD Key then what came with the game i dont see why it would!

Not really Elite because i can prove i have my own copy but its messed up i guarantee they wont consider it illegel for that cause! Its not like i dont own a copy and trying to get it for free!

1.) no it would need to instill from a Cd.

2.) electronic scratch remover go use it, this would be best. after see if you can make a backup copy of the Cd after it been clean of all, then you can burn Cd's with the Image you save. there maybe a block on this but give it a try.


3.) each batch of Cd made a newer version of a key codes are made it means they would have to have the same cd as you for your key-code to work. so burn a new Cd may not work again may work.

sample DF2 it been made many times over the years and newer version of Cd been made, i found my DF: 2 i got first Key code would not work in the replacement Cd i got after the first one gone bad.

if you do make a newer Game Cd always keep the real deal in a safe place, so you can show it all to see you really own the game and pay for. even if the real deal Cd is broken or crack it good to keep it anyways, put it in the game box or in a place handy

Well ill give it a try Chief but i had Team Sabre burned for me and me and someone else is using the same cd key so i know it cant be an issue cause i never had this issue before when doing this i might go buy Team Sabre and try my own cd key but doubt it would fix the cis?

it is illegal, and i wouldn't really count on them just not considering it illegal, they could possibly be all over you to try and get money. However unlikely this is, it is illegal, and I would contact them first before doing anything like that.

Was just going to rebuy it but found you dotn need Counter Strike to Play Counter Strike CZ and its much funner so i may get CS later again!

Counter Strike CZ comes with CZS (Deleted Scenes) and CS normal...

Mines the CZ only package meaning its not got both in the box only CZ game!

Nah!!! he didnt say Novalogic, he meant as in them as referring to the makers of CS Games and Half Life
