Changing the in game Kill Value's
I have a great Idea for when I'm hosing a server. I would like to have it set up so that when you are killed you would actually loose a point on the in game display next to your name. That way people would be more apt to hide and not care if they are killed and just try and get the high score. I have figured out how to change the value's for the end game experience points but not for the in game kills while the game is running. If anyone can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I thought you DID lose points for dying. I was told being stabbed in -20 ponits. I don't know, maybe it's not true.

the display next to the name is only the number of kills, and AFAIK thats hardcoded. but the list is sorted by experience, so its possible, that players with lower numbers are on top (for headshots, knives etc)
with the standard scoring it's pretty much like this (i think): kill: +5 xp death -2 xp ... ... so if you change the death value to something like -15 xp, you wouldn't change anything about the displayed score, but certainly their rank in the list btw, capt. colostomy, i'm pretty sure it doesnt matter how you die, its always -2 xp. but you killer gets some extra xp of course (as always i could be wrong) |
