In both DFX and DFX2, look in the language.pff files. They're there.

I assume the WAC has direct access to them or do I need a switch to make them work in a map?

Yeah, if they're in the .pff files you can play them (or anywhere in the NOVALOGIC/DFX2 folder).

example:
if chain(10) and never then
wave("wavename.wav")
endif


No pff prefix needed !
