cant download anything

it lets me login , but i cant download anything says im blocked

we are having some trouble with our host right now, tha might be the reason

all so if the firewall is blocking it, you need to enable this site in it.
Norton Firewall
This is one way to fix it:
1.) in the clock area right click-on it firewall, then pick option... click-on it, to open it up.
2.) a tap up top you see "Web Content" click-on it.
3.) lookup dfhq.net or www.dfhq.net if you can not find it then add it in "Add Site" bottom left side you see it.
4.) after it listed ether you added in or it was already in, "globle Settings" you see "Information about visited sites"
A.) Uncheck the: box "Use default setting"
B.) 2 option under it
1-Block (uncheck)
2-Permit (Check it enable)

then click ok your finish now you be able to download.

you may have to do this with other site, what it is they are checking to see if it being leech or a real person is downloading it. thats why you may see a message your getting.

i got use to it, have to do it with DF: Hq and DF barraks all so. but am glade to make it easyer for other to fix it and help out best i can.

only wish i know how to make DF: LW, TFD, BHD log-in and set the firewall to it, getting tire of the 3001 error when log-in.

think of getting another firewall to use norton is good and all but, some times it a bet of a headacke, if any one knows a better or some as good as it is let me know

Chief try Zonealarm it's what i've been using for almost 2 years now, and haven't had a bit of trouble with it. The makor thing i truly like about it is how easy it is to setup program access to the internet.

There is only one drawback you have to leave you security settings at medium, because if it's any higher than medium no one will be able to join any server you host.
