BHD MP Demo Trouble

This is driving me crazy,the BHD MP Demo won't work for me.I have direct x 8.1 and stuff. But when I download it it says a ton of files are missing.So I download the file and than it says another file is missing I will give you all the exact file names later but I got to go to school pretty soon. I was wondering if the same thing will happen if I buy the full version of the game? And is it pointless to e-mail nova with my problem?

Which Operating System do you have? When did you last run Windows Update (Start->Windows Update)? I'd recommend that every time you post a problem such are yours please don't forget to post you PC Specs.

Howdy Coldfire....Try deleting all of the BHD files and re-download from a different site. I used Hollowpoint and dont have any problems. I had used another site first and I did have problems so I deleted and d/l from Hollowpoint. Just a thought...

Hmm..to answer all the questions..or at least attempt to..I have a hewlett packard..on dsl..I go to windows update and it brings me to a website and after that I am lost.PC Specs....don't even know what they are..I will try downloading from a different site..you never know I guess...I did download it from Nova

Once you get to Windows Update page, depending on which ever Windows you have, just look around for a PRODUCT UPDATES link. Once you find it, click on it. If you're doing the update for the 1st time a prompt box will appear, asking you to download some stuff from Microsoft Corporation, hit YES . Then it will take you to the actual place where all the stuff is stored. There will be sections comprising of the following topics:

1. Critical Updates and Service Packs
2. Picks of the Month
3. Recommended Updates
4. Additional Windows Features
5. Device Drivers

Items on # 1 category are a must download. On the upper rigth corner there will be a big blue button titled, DOWNLOAD click on it. It will take you to another page and hit the DOWNLOAD once again. Once the download is complete a Prompt will appears saying you need restart the computer. Just hit YES. Your PC will reboot and stuff you downloaded will be installed. Only items in Critical Updates and Service Packs are checked by default, in order to install updates from other categories you have to click manually. Most programs can be downloaded in combination with others. But some program require separate download and installation. Similar is true of all other categories. I'd stay away from INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE SUPPORT.

got it working My dad did a system reformat for some stupid reason,but I downloaded BHD.Opened it up and it went fine..ran into a few problems but it is all solved now
