WGN's Armageddon 5 (BHD)

WarGamers Network is hosting Armageddon 5.

We are looking at a tenative launch date for the weekend of Novenber 16th.

Last March we had over 500 participannts representing 63 squads in this community.Thats a lot of peeps getting together on 2 TeamSpeaks. Some squads have gone and some new ones have formed. We at WGN sincerely hope you will take advantage of this party to re-acquaint yourselves with the gamers of BHD. Let the past be the past, (at least for a few weekends), and just enjoy some of the server filling madness you know Armageddon brings.

If you have a BHD squad server you name it as a city. For example some are named Chicago, Sydney, Zim City, etc.

If you are not in a squad and want to participate you can register as well and you will be put on a team as a solo.

The biggest party in BHD is back for a 5th installment.

Armageddon 5: The Wastelands

For those of you that are already fans of the Armageddon series, we know you will be back. For those of you who have missed out, here is an overview.

Armageddon is not a contest, it is a party! It is a community brought together and tossed on to 2 teamspeak servers. All squads participating will change the name of their server to a city name for the event.

Picture this.... You go look at the server list...normally you see ES, EAA, OC, AA, CEF, EA, SOG, MAK, RTF,..but they arent there...instead you see Detroit, Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, Pheonix, ect ect ect....A veritable plethora of Cities waiting to be sacked, or calling out for help in their defense.

All squads entering will be divided up into 2 armys. Each Army will have its servers to defend. Squads are not removed from play if their server falls, so all squads are playing all the time. This creates some intense server filling madness. Ever attacked a 50 man server with 25 guys all on the same TS, while it is being defended by 25 guys on another TS? Trust me, its something to see.


This is an opportunity to build bridges to new squads and get to chat with people in the community you have not met before. Last time around, many individuals gathered on the teamspeaks hours early and stayed hours after the event for just this reason.

You do not need a server to participate. There is no minimum number required to participate. You do not even need to be in a squad to participate.

Last time around we had over 63 squads represented and over 500 people partying on 2 teamspeaks. Our community is going to take some major hits. CoD4 has been released and looks to be one of the most popular FPS games around. Many people are migrating that way. Novalogic also has a new title in the works and rumors are abound that it will release before christmas. This may be our last chance to get together on a massive scale and enjoy BHD the way it was meant to be played.
