Confused Mouse wheel control of scope zoom

Hey all, hope this hasn't been answered already I did search a bit but the only thing I found related to this is about scrolling through weapons. My problem since updating BHD to latest version is that my scroll wheel adjusts the scope elevation and not the zoom now, some time back I found the fix for this (had to reinstall game) but don't remember what it was and am unable to find it again. I do know that it only effects logitech mice.

My system specs are:
2.4GHz P4 processor
1GB RAM
GeForce 128MB FX 5200 video card

Any help with this is greatly appreciated.
TIA

think it in your setting for the key broad or the mouse setting you can change it to do what you like it to do.

there be 2ways to do it.
1.) change the wheel move it down to zoom out. (or some thing other)
2.) change the wheel move it up to zoom in.
i reset it to range in (DN) and out (up).
and reset the '-key for scope in and out as in 2x-18x on the scope. make it faster to range in on targets.

Thanks for your reply but that's not my problem. I don't want the elevation on the mousewheel I want zoom on mousewheel, the remapping part is set correctly (zoom in set for scrollup zoom out scrolldown) but in game the mousewheel controls scope elevation and the keyboard up/down arrows control scope zoom.

Thanks for your reply Nev, but that also isn't what I'm looking for. It's a problem of the latest update not liking the logitech mouse, I found the fix once through google but forget where I found it or the search string I used before in google to find it again (still looking though). No remapping of the mousewheel takes it stays the same. It will slap me when the solution is posted on sight (wish I could remember now). If I do find it first I will post back here the solution and/or a link for use by this site for future incidences of this problem.
Again TIA

OK all tx for your help, I found the fix:

PROBLEM:
After updating Delta Force Black Hawk Down to version 1.3.0.37 I am experiencing problems with the mouse wheel after remapping the 'CTRL' key.

RESOLUTION:
As the ‘CTRL’ key is used as a modifier key for some functions, those functions must be sacrificed in order to remap another function to the ‘CTRL’ key. Place this file (userdef.key) in your game directory (usually c:\Program Files\Novalogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down) and start the game. Go to the "Options" menu, and then to the "Remap" tab and click the "User Defaults" button. Now remap the keys as desired. Click "OK". The keys should now work as remapped, and the mouse wheel can be used to zoom the scope and cycle weapons. When this mapping is applied, the mouse wheel may not be used (with ‘CTRL’) to change scope elevation. Changing scope elevation must be done with keyboard input.

here is the link with this info and the fix:

http://www.novalogic.com/supportarticle.asp?ID=4

Again thanks for everyones help.
