First waypoint is Bravo not Alpha

Has anyone come across the error in COOP maps that gets all the waypoints malfunctioning?

IE: First waypoint shows up as Bravo, not Alpha. No matter what you try except calling WP1.0 null works but doesn't solve the malfunctions.

I am going to try teleporting a single waypoint around the map, not as good as a working map but hopefully players will at least have a waypoint to follow

Maybe that's because of the un-official coop patch?
BHD doesn't have native coop mode.
But for COOP u should not use waypoints. Make it hard but use decorations/buildings for the direction around ur map

Yes i've played that map but don't forgot: that is for coop and you have used an WAC file, but only the host can see it, unless all the players have it so the .wac will work.
You can use direcional arrows, .50 cals, smokes, fires, or even an informant [make him invencible and create an event when group 1 is in AT 1 redirect him to the objective so the player has to follow him)
Group 1 cause in coop all players start on group1

Then how about if the host wac specifies an explosion/rocket event, the other pc's should be able to register it in the game surely?

LOL, if only the players would do that!

Big thing in mapping so the game will work is to get the player to go where you want them to and at the right time.
IE...No good if he blows the key object too soon and you have not allowed for it in your events. If they miss something out or do it in the wrong order and many others. If this happens the game will not finish.
To allow for exploration also takes considerable thought.
I make my maps with that in mind.

Rocket events, like triggering to create a special particle effect at TT 1 it work if you do in the MED itself.

Hey Mate, let's look at "little BHD mods" for a second. OK?

Q.
Is it true that if we put a dds or bin file in the main directory, they override the original ones in the pff?

They don't override, the game just read the .exe directory first and after that it reads the PFF.
