old coin?

found this today in a box of electrical items.

it looks like a coin but im not shure of what era it is from or if the numbers 1371 is the date on it, or of what materal it is made from.

and how much is a franc?

this is a 2 sided view showing both sides.

Same as what Lucky said. Our tech teacher said he has these coins back in the day of WWII and it's worth like $10-20 back then but now they're like... 5 cents worth.
