will 32bit is fine and all, but have it last 4-5yrs down the road checkout 64bit system that will still work with 32bit items software.

i look around ask and call them up to see what they have.

me i get a that but a 64bit system.

i would double check it thats all, some 64bit will not work with 32bit best check it thats all.

i had made a lot of calls and found not many 64bit system will work out to good with 32bit sofware or hardware.

you will probably notice a little bit with sata..

fyi, amd does not have a 3000+ dual core cpu.. they start at 3800+

$3,000 for that? thats pretty spendy, even for a laptop.. i'm sure you can get alot more for less then that.

I got mine for $700, all i'm missing is the 17" and 7800GTX GO..

I cant assemble a laptop, and I want the warranty and support for the money I'm going to be spending.

@ Chief - it is 64 bit and I havnt read anything about the games I want to run on it running wrong/bad.

@ panther - THANK YOU for pointing that out, i hadnt noticed hte differences between 2 packages that were offered.

@ steve - i will once i order and buy it - and the good thing about the warranty - its not a BS warranty - if I DO anything to it - spill something on the screen crack it or anything, it can be replaced

The new one with dual core 64 bit tacs another 200 or so onto the price tag, so the total is 3098. and it is the 3800 im going to be getting.

A lot more for less than that? that 7800 GTX is pricey and the 17" is probably over 600$.

Prices start at around 500$ for the 7800 GTX Go... ( http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=...ff&oi=froogler )

Making a comparible system at Dell ... even though they dont offer AMD processors, its well over the 4000$ mark.

Alienware is out of the question.

64bit wont matter chief if your running a 32 bit os. Everything will work just as it did.. I run winxp x64 and all my games run on it fine, the only problem i have is no zone alarm which i dont really care about anymore. Few small things don't work but I still use it full time now..
