Complete DEM Hosting Set-Up

Setting up DEM for Hosting:
Step 1: Open DEM
Step 2: Click the large gray tab "Server >>"
Step 3: An area should apper below it.
Step 4: In the first box, scroll down untill you find "Delta Force: Land Warrior, V1.00.42 and select this as the game type.
Step 5: Port can remain as 5035, 10, 10 & 1000. Thats all fine.
Adding Admins:
Step 1: Click the "Edit Admins" gray tab at the far bottom.
Step 2: Click the gray tab "Add" and a box should pop up.
Step 3: In the name field enter gutshot (any name will do, just gut for example )
Step 4: In the password field enter the password the admin your creating it for wants.
Step 5: In the level field you can enter #'s from 1-4. (4) allows you unlimited access, while (1) is very limited as to what you can do, for members like gut and others who go way back and you know wont abuse their privilages its safe to use 3-4, for newer members i suggest 1-2.
Step 6: Hit the "Close" Tab
Step 7: And again Hit the "Close" Tab
WHILE YOUR HERE YOU SHOULD GO AHEAD AND SET UP ADMINS FOR EVERYONE ON THE SQUAD INCLUDING YOURSELF. You dont have to but you can.

Now you should be back to where we started. Before we can start the server you must do the following:

Extracting your ini-files:
Step 1: Open the DEM folder:
C:/Program Files/DEM/
Step 2: Look for a file in the folder called "server-files" it should be a box, depending on your winzip program.
Step 3: Right click > Open and extract the files to the DEM folder (the one your currently in).
Step 4: After it extracts you should see many more files 10 or so.

Editing these files for your server:
Step 1: Open the "servers" file (double click it) once it opens, it will either be blank or have some information on it depending on what you have entered: if you have something there it should look like this: "12.217.###.##","LOW SQUAD","5035"
Thats "(YOUR IP)","(EZK SQUAD)","(PORT)"
Step 2: Editing it: "ENTER YOUR IP HERE","EZK SQUAD","5035"
Step 3: After inserting your IP copy and paste it into the "servers" file, save it, and close it.

Now you are done with the hard part, but lets set up some text banners for the EZK squad.

Text Banners:
Step 1: Open the file "textbanners" which can be found in your DEM folder (it should be open).
Step 2: Double click on the "text banners" file and open it.
Step 3: This is what you will have:

This is a banner-ad
Shown on the start of every map

This 3 banners are rotated every 60 seconds
This is the second one
And this the third
Step 4: This is what you need to change it to: (copy and paste)

Step 5: File>Save, after saving close the file.

Final Steps:
Step 1: OK finally were almost done, you can close the DEM folder and anything else except for the DEM program.
Step 2: On the DEM program you'll see a thing at the top on the gray bar called "Hosting Settings".
Step 3: Put a check mark (by clicking on the name) next to the following:
Use textbanners
No skins
Judge Dread
Step 4: ok done with that you can stop checking now haha.
Step 5: On the DEM program in the very first drop down box select "EZK SQUAD", in the next field enter your username like i said "gutshot" but create one for yourself, go back and do it if you need to (its in the adding admins section), and finally in the next field enter your password, it should be like ******* when typed in.
Step 6 1/2: Open DFLW and Start hosting, than minimize it once your character is in the game and ready to kill. Be sure your game's maps are 20 minutes long.
Step 6: Hit the "Start Server" gray tab at the very bottom, a new window should pop up that looks like something you havent seen before, but simular to the DEM client just a wee bit bigger.

Dam this looked all nice and was bolded/intaliczed but im not going to go back and do it, just thought this would help, took like 2 hours to make.
