WHATS YOUR TOOL? MED or NILE
I started making maps with TFD MED, and have used NILE, but soon realised life was a lot easier with the old MED, and many things were still functional too.
But I fear 'our' days are numberd. Whats your preference....? mermite |

with JO i made maps for our clan. using my experience making maps with BHD, I used the med. I made maps of various gametypes and all the people in my clan that used NILE (which was everyone except me) was astonished at the maps I made.
I even used the PFF extracter to get the BMS for the training missions, used the dfx bms-mis converter. opened it up in MED and made it into a COOP. when we played it there was like the double astonishment. "oooh stenger how did you do that?" "stenger I didnt know you could do this in NILE" I reply: "I don't use NILE" |

Lol, owned.
Training missions in DFX in the .pff? If only Nova put a 3D view feature for the MED, if it was possible. The only thing I ever use which is even close to looking like NILE, is SuperOED (NILE and SuperOED look similiar, while OED and MED look similiar). SuperOED is an object exporter for modding... I can imagine hardly anyone uses NILE because people are so used to the MED. Plus, Nova didn't even provide an actual manual for NILE - only a "quick start" guide, which tells nothing (correct me if I'm wrong).
