Graphics problem
Not sure if anyone has solved this problem. I just put together a new computer because my last one was an old 2600 XP processored one.
Now I have an ASUS P5K-E Wifi, Intel Core Duo E6750, NVIDIA 8600 GTS, OCZ 2 Gig PC6400 Dual Channel and a WD Harddrive 16meg Buffer. and so on.. Well I instal JO-E and did all the update and I get bad video and on vehicles, there is like metalic reflections off of the windshields. I did all the update drivers for my stuff. Has anyone figured it out. I see in the NOVAWORLD there have been complaints about the same thing but no answers.

Have you updated to the latest DirectX?
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling? If you uninstall, always delete the JO folder, and then reinstall. Chris

are we talking about mother broad graphic chip or is it a graphic card like a PCIe type card?
best double check, if there a graphc card we can help you, but if it a graphic chip they are limited resource for that. sells person say anything to make a sell and yes even lie. best double check it out, see if there a Graphic card or video card in your system. word of warning don't try to over clock the ASUS video card they will charge big time to repair it. 150.00 and up. if they find it been over clocked. they can be real dicks for support service. not cheap ether $$$$$

We just updated the BIO's to the 0503 version on the motherboard, uninstalled the video driver and reinstalled the ones from NVIDIA and it still happens. It also does it on the Game S.T.A.L.K.E.R but not on Age of Empires II and Flight Sim X. I bought everything off of newegg.com this week. If the card is bad I will send it back.
The card is a EVGA 8600 GTS 512 MEG

My friend called it Pixeling or something like that. We did Aquamark3 and didn't have any issues.

then it could be a bad video card
asus some time will try to charge you money to fix the card, ask newegg.com (seller) if they will exchange it for another card! sometime they will do it 98% times. call them asap don't wait there is a time limited on exhanging it for another. ============== i know i had a ASUS ADM/Ati Video card type video card, Tigerdirect sold me and i had to exchange it with them, freaks ASUS were going to charge me money on it to get it fix! even if it was brand new unit jerks. tigerdirect.com save me
