Yo!

Hey, I believe that my GFX card fan has died. If I add a heatsink or fan next to the card...will it work as good?

hmm 'next to the card'?
can you just not replace the fan?

fyi there are a few fan/heatsink upgrades depending on your card, so not only will they work, they should work better

arctic coolers are probably the best ones if your interested

You can try the bay freezers to get some extra cooling there pretty cheap as well

my vid card didnt have a fan on it and i added one, sucker works great even overclocked .
