What a BIG pile of poo, well atleast on the PS3 anyway. I knew I should have got the PC version its cheaper and atleast you get to make your own missions and maps.

Would like to play it but from what I've seen it looks really bland. I'm sure the immersion + co-op will be a blast though, somewhat.

Currently installing it, so ill let you know what I think after the next few hours of gameplay ;P
Bought it because I fancy some tactics rather than run 'n' gun. |

ive got it here next to me, it's been here for weeks and i just dont feel the need to install it :/ got it for £10 delivered, was an impulse buy and pretty cheap i reckon. i'm a sucker for a high rated cheap game heh.
i'm still into ARMA2 mutiplayer big time, seeing as ive not heard anything good about dragon rising's mutiplayer, i'm still reluctant to even install it. however i watched my m8 play it single player and it looks stunning |

A squad mate had it mailed to me a few weeks back and I installed it yesterday.
Totally lagged on my comp (it's the GFX card ) and I didn't recall seeing any advanced settings to tweak the game other than resolution (although I may be wrong). But to be honest even though I was willing to try it out, it just looks really bland in all areas, both gameplay and visuals. As for ArmA 2, that looks way better but unfortunately that ran just as worse on the comp. I've been hitting up lately in MW2 and Borderlands, both really cool games.

I've been playing the game for a while now, and while the bots are super smart, the player control interface feels just plain awkward and hard to control and the fact that it has VERY low field of view makes it almost unplayable. and the low field of view makes it very hard to clear buildings.
and the lack of video settings is bad, about the only thing you can change is the res and anti aliasing. if you have a low end video card, you're screwed. I'm very disappointed....... it really sucks actually. |

The environment in OFP2 never really appealed to me much anyway - it just looked the same throughout. I guess the contrast is interesting though.

It's good for what it is, a tactical sim. But lets be honest, that doesn't make a good game ;P run 'n gun ftw.

yeah, I would love to have a tatical simulator like this with better controls and smooth FPS. now that really would be a good game.

Damn! I take that back - this does have advanced settings (F1). They didn't make much of a difference for me though, lol.
