with particle effects, you can make what looks like a harmless explosion (just as big as any other it just doesnt hurt) or smoke, or flashbangs from nowhere. (no grenades or satchels required) to use them, select the particle effect of your choosing, then in the waypoint list, give it a number which must be different than every other teleport marker. now, in the events make a THEN script which sais create particle effect.

Chief, I believe he's talking about the ShocknAwe mod.

Okay, let me get this straight. *Long*, did you install ShocknAwe in your DFBHD directory? You sure you didn't just install it into any old directory? Because that error message is saying that it's missing a file - or your DFBHD was stuffed in the first place. I think you gotta install ShocknAwe in your DFBHD mod directory. For example:

C:\Program Files\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down\mod

DO NOT install ShocknAwe in this directory unless that's the directory you have DFBHD installed in (excluding the mod folder).

And *Long*, please, if you want to have a higher chance of getting your problem solved, please state as much as possible. An ok i just got that shockwave mod thingy and every time i start it it say
"unable to load strings of error" or sumthing like that
isn't going to do it. We're not mind readers. We're human.

Coolio?
