truck not working properly
Heres one for you smart guys. I triggered a pickup to a waypoint list. When i jump in the back of the pickup it triggers the redirect to wp list "x" so i can ride the truck back to the action and not have to run.(gettin old and tired).
It worked fine until I decided to return the truck to the original location and reset the timer on the event so other players could use the same truck. When I did that on the return route the truck becomes a bdrm and starts shooting everything. Also when the truck gets to the last wp it keeps going for a long time. I tried to adjust the last wp so the truck would coast into the 1st trigger area, but no luck. Any hints? |

the truck starts shooting!!??
reduce the speed at the next to last waypoint to get it to slow down. its not too clear what ur wantign to know. :\ |

i dont quite understand what u mean, i have never had any problems like that...
why dont u just draw waypoints that lead to the first waypoint (like in a circle) and set the waypoint list to loop forever. then set up a event that will redirect the truck to the waypoint list, and an event that will set the speed of the truck... should work perfectly...

Im with Stevie, a truck that shoots? Are you sure that you dont have a truck and a bdrm on top of each other?

Thanks for all the responses. Everything worked fine when I went from wp 0 to wp 8. When i added 8 more to take the truck back to the original point that is when a bdrm started showing up. I dont see any bdrm's in the .mis file at all. I am going to make a test map of just that event. I think changing the speed will help. If I can get the truck to stop at the point it is triggered, then all players can use it for a ride back to the action. Thanks again, I will post the results.
