Wow that's a pretty good deal. Only thing that sucks is the processor speed isn't 2.4 or 2.5

There was one comparible from dell but it had the lower end 8600GT and a 2.5Ghz Processor but was about the same price.

I bet the 8700GT was worth it.

I'm on it right now, and I'm more than pleased with it. It came with a Logitech MX518 mouse or whatever it's called .. I was surprised by that lol

I read the reviews for it yesterday. I might get it in November. The 9700GT is much better than teh 8600GT.

Did you see the review that said you can tweak it to be as good as an 8800GT?

mm nope .. but its awesome for gaming .. i've seen reviews with sound issues .. i haven't had any .. probably because i always use headphones on it

so far I've had absolutely no problems with it .. kinda big ... that's all. It runs very quite .. you can't even tell if it's running or not by ear .. and it doesn't get that hot. The battery only last for like two hours though if your lucky.

I just worry about the processor speed, I'd like something more like 2.5 Ghz.

it's plenty quick ... between the dual core processor, 7200 rpm hard drive, and 4 gigs of ram .. everything scoots along quite nicely

can you upgrade the CPU at all for it later down the road like the Hard drive? i know it can be upgraded to a larger one.

has it got hotter when you play games or using it for a long time? lap top cooling fan stand would do some good i think if it does get a bet hot inside the case
