Where IS the CD key? Am I blind??

or has my mental ability just dropped through the floor.

Just got the game from "Game" in edinburgh.

Instructions on screen say the cd-key is in the case....

cant find the blighter tho.

nor in the manual.

I know some games ask for keys, which actually appear in diff places from where they're supposed to, due to changes etc, but this time im stumped.

any advice?

just got off phone with novalogic.

apparently i just got a missed cd case.

great.

im partially disabled,so tiz diff for me to return it.

oh well, if i ever get round to it ill see you ingame.

hope its worth it.

I know in the american version it is located on the back lower section of the cd case front paper cover. open the cd case and look inside on the front cover.

my uk version is inside top right on a sticker.
well it is pretty bad that that happened, just unlucky i guess

here in austria, we get those stupid german versions, and since a few years most of them in DVD-case...

ps: my key is on a sticker just above the cd (in the case), hard to miss

it does save me a lot of space though hehe

The same damn thing happened when I bought Soldier of Fortune II. All the trouble they go to to make sure everyone and their dog has to own a copy to play, and people still get screwed. Go figure.

Yea same for Me i Live in belgium...( DVD cases too lol)
but i like it and most of the cd keys are on the info book they put with the cd. But on bhd yes it whas a sticker

I spent ages going through the manual, typing in every number on the cd cover etc etc.

Mine must have been just missed out.

shame they cant print it on the manual like ofp.

actually, whilst saying that, ive lost my ofp manual, so no online fun for me there either

I wonder if it wouldnt be easier, authorizing all cd-keys online?

it would cut costs for print and design in the long run.

obviously for single player games this would be a problem, if the owner has no internet access.

But then again, just like the XP authorisation, you could phone for it.

good idea or bad?

ummm, my point was, that there was NO key in my game.

it had been left out.

plus things like this happen all the time, which diminishes peoples enjoyment and feelings towards said company.

i was looking for a way to avoid it

Owwww yes thats true I mostly buy a game to play online so i can understand u lol if there isn't a cd jey then i went crazy to the story and Hit him in the back with my game i bougd lol
