Display Errors - incorrect colours

I have recently reinstalled one of my PC's with a fresh install of windows xp & sp2, but now after doing so get incorrect colouring (mainly white) in the wrong places making it very difficult to play the game.

I have updated to the latest Nvidia drivers to try and resolve this with no success, i have also installed Team Sabre to also try and resolve the issue - no luck with this either , any ideas would be appreciated.

The machine is a 1.4ghz Athlon XP, 768mb Ram, 64mb Geforce 4 mx440, running XP & SP2 and driver version 66.9

sounds like the bug i also ihad, i only found myself able to reinstall the game to fix this... But i didnt ask for help so maybe someone has another solution.

tried that any other ideas?

also downloaded and installed latest patches, still no different

In the BIOS, see if there is a setting to increase the AGP aperture a bit, maybe from 32 to 64MB. It might help.

what you did was ok.

un-instill the game & delete the game folder then re-instill it back in.

1.) instill DF:BHD. "no updates"
2.) instill DF:BHD/ Team Sabre let the Cd update the game.
3.) Download the update for Team Sabre

you could try this before doing anything can't hurt any.
Start>run>type in:chkdsk /f (F-fast scan or R-through scan) click-on "ok" a windows come up asking to do it when system restart up press: "Y-key" hit "enter" now restart your system.

let it do it thing will take some time like 10-45min most.

personnaly i think it's the Driviers for your card should un-instill the in Add & remove then restart you system after back to desktop instill them back in. some times you have a pop sound when system restart if you hear this, you need to do a scan desk, file system may gotting mix-up or something gone bad.

Like chief said may be your card updates because i use Nvidia Geforce 4 440 SE and it works fine i use to have that problem i just reinstalled the game one time and i think other time i had to get the card i have now which is the one i just said!! Some people have to set there in game settings for graphics settings on the options menu for games like you may needa lower the settings to something on your BHD Game Settings!!!
