Computer Animation Program?

Hi does anyone know of any good 3d Animation programs? I know of Lightwave, but I need some other ones.

i think Maya is just about the most expensive software u can buy lol, but top stuff from what i have seen.

3d Studio Max is worth checking out

yes I am. 14 years now. I write, produce, and direct shortfilms, commercials, music videos, and low-budget feature films.

The biggest film I worked on was The Watcher, starring James Spader Marisa Tomei and Keanu Reeves.

Well we are going to enter a few, I am in a TV Productions class (the best in our state) and we are looking to win in a number of areas. We have already made music videos and other things, but we were only allotted 1 week to shoot and edit the whole thing, so it didn't turn out as well as I had liked. But anyway, we are looking for this for an intro and special effects, in our movies!
