i think there going to be some trouble here

recruitng for a clan maybe ok, but again the US Army may like to do their own recruitng from their own site and not have other doing it up or speak for them

i talk to the US Army they will be looking into it, they may ask them to change the name to some other, the base commander a two star General FT Hood Tx was not happy to hear this.

sorry i am a US-Army Vet and if there was a US MARINES vet i would think they too would report the name to their service banch as will.

why could have your so call Clan not make up a whole new name for it, other then copy some other site name? i have to say thats really burns

omg one of my commanding officers whole family is n the army and they think its a cool idea and that its good to get the armys name out there and they said its almost like an advertisement for the army

it ok have it on the site but not thier url address like you have there. it copying their url address that part is not cool

by the way real usarmy.com you can get free e-mail account there for 25mb sample: freaky@usarmy.com there is small drawback will not work with any 3rd party e-mail programs but you can have all e-mail forward to another account like gmail.com or hotmail.com

its not the us army's url if it is registered to someone in the squad. the url the army uses (www.usarmy.com) is registered the the US government. www.us-army.co.nr is not registered to the government. Like littlesarv said, most of the CO's family thinks its cool to be doing this. If the CO is infact in the army, I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be able to.
