Post Project cars

PROJECT CARS YouTube clips here...

IMO the improvements to this game so far are bringing it to the point of sublime.

The car's a bit twitchy in this video because I'm using an X-Box style controller, so a good Wheel and some VR tech (which it supports) would bring it's reality hit up yet another level.

So for those of us who like a ride on the wild side without the grief...

i really like PCars, i've played racing games with the same group of gamers for years, GTR2, GRID, SHIFT, GRID 2, SHIFT 2, Grid auto sport, PCars. as you can see we like a certain type of racing and PCars fits the bill. It's by far the best multiplayer system when playing with friends, with many options which allows from sim type setup to more arcade which to be fair is just easier for ppl to join in and play.

same as every other racing game, you need to put time in to get used to the feel. i know ppl complain about this and that and its not a sim, or it's not realistic, or it's just like a sim.... everyone has their own opinion.... including developers who all claim unprecedented realism, even though every game seems completely different to me ahha. so you just play it and get used to it. problem for me is when we race as a group, i want everyone to be similar ability and learn the handling so we can have fun, but instead you can almost always guess the order of the finishing.

anyway love the game, just couple of issues for me...

1, number of DLCs.... especially when they have reused many assets like cars and tracks from the SHIFT series of games and now charge extra 10 years later for the same stuff in this game.

2, the Evo is rubbish, i mean it's a cheap car but its a racecar, and they make it a POS road car, like every other car classed as Road Car, it's just terrible......... RACING GAME........ ROAD CAR.... RACING GAME!! and on a side note, in GRID2 for example there is only a rear wheel drive EVO for drifting....... holy $^&* i mean wtf they thinking there arrrgr

3, no flipping nissan gtrs.... this is a racing game ffs

IMO Steve is right and there are some things really good that are missing -

But...

After having more of a poke around I've found this to be another good combination of track and race breeding.

SAKITTO (JAPAN)

BMW Z4 GT3

For me the long straights and sweeping design of the corners at Sakitto suits the heavier construction of production based cages.

The engine and trans of the GT3 seem to be talking and the parallax changes when you drift offline, so with physics, vibrations and sound etc, I can "feel' the road.
