BF2142 Demo Is Out!

to my amazement, the full game is already out in the desolate and isolated place i live in. What about the rest of you, is it out yet?

Sorry i didnt get around to it because i have been real busy with work and fixing my computer(had to format it), but the Battlefield 2142 Demo has been out for a few days already.

From the way EA has put it though, it is better to download the EA Downloader then download the Demo to avoid errors.

I tryed the Gamershell link and it gave me an error when starting the game as a file was missing so i switched to the EA Downloader.

So for all those interested in Battlefield Games who have not yet heard, go check it out.

I dont see why?I mean it was pretty fun after you got use to the game.You cant play it just one day and say oh its bad until you understand the game and the point of its game modes.

Anyways unlike the Beta there is alot more stuff added to the Demo.One in Conquest Mode.Also there are 4 available soldier teams to chose from.

There are alot more maps.

Everyone says theres a new Titan Mode which im guessing means theres a better Titan Mode.

But like i said the game can take a while getting use to.

I like it, downloaded it from fileshack.com without a problem in full speed

use the EA downloader.. its fast

only 1 problem.. if ur using ATi cats 6.9 u get a black screen inside the titans

Is it really worth it? Its like a 1,000,000GB download. Whatever happened to the games that were only like 200mbs? Besides BF42 and BFV, the series is pretty much dead. So many people hate BF2 for some strange reason.

I'm not gonna dowload that becasue it's gonna take 12+ hours, and I hate Sci-fi FPS games.

Dont say you hate something till you try it!Its not as bad as it looks.

Some things you might not of heard is that there are battlewalkers which are like mechs.

When an enemy drops his pack you can pick it up for ammo and use the enemys gun fior that case.

There are drop pods and air pods meaning pods for evacuations and for landing on enemy ships.

Just try it is all i ask because i didnt think it would be all that fun either but it is.If you tried the Beta its way way better than the beta.

I will make a fraps movie here soon for those wanting to see it who want to wait on downloading it.

Also Squirmtz if you want i can send you the BF2142 Demo and reduce you some time on download.

If you download it from EA Downloader though it should not take 12 hours for anyone im guessing.


Note About Preordering is i saw an ad that said there going to give you BF2,BF1942,and Vietnam all if you preorder BF2142 so for those of you who dont have BF2 yet like me lmao that might help if you plan on buyind BF2142.

For those who are still having trouble wondering if there going to try it go to www.bf2142.com and www.battlefieldpodcast.com and read up on it some more.New things have been added since the beta on there tutorials about it.

its called the demand for more realistic games, and more features..

EA downloader is the best way to get it i think, gr8 speeds.. i got it in under an hour

If you want i can possibely try sending it to you Squirmitz and see if that helps reduce your download time that is if EA Downloader doesent work any faster.I can only send you the copy though i downloaded from gamershell since with the EA Downloader it installed it from it.I downloaded it first myself from gamershell and though it was a messed up copy buts its not.

If anyone gets an error message saying something about d3dx9_29.dl missing then that means you need to reinstall direct x(latest)
