having to hold it
An American broke away from his tour group in England to see how life realy was there. He stopped by a few pubs and had a few beers. On his way back to his hotel he became lost. Due to all the beer he had had to drink he realy had to go but could'nt find a restroom. He found a tall wall but as soon as he started to go he was taped on the sholder by a bobby who said I'm sorry sir but you can't go here.The American said he could not hold it any longer. The bobby told the man to follow him. He followed the bobby and they came to a gate.The bobby said you can go in there. The American went through the gate. on the other side was a huge garden with fountians every where.After he was done he thanked the bobby saying is this good old english hospitality? The bobby said no this is the French Embassy

Dont have guns? not quite right there, at the very least there was the vigilante style assasination of that brazilian kid a while back that was worldwide news.

Alot of police (not all though given recent times) dont openly/actively carry firearms wherrever they go, but they do certainly have guns availiable to them...

they have guns available, but the ocasional cop you see in the street (very rare) doesnt look like he has a gun, just his stick thingy (forgot the name xD)
