Help plz
can sum1 help me with this problem?
I have a map where you will c a limo driving. Ive set it as S&D mission cause he just needed there there are no targets in that map at all not even 1 that aint given a grouop and so I thought after the start delay he will go on due to no targets but he doesnt move on he just stays on that map How can i set it that way that he will continue after the start delay has been over?

What i meant was how to let the map end as soon as the startdelay has finished?
Ive been reading trough my msg and it wasnt very clear lol but now it is ( i think)

good question m8.
events n stuff always start when the map loads whether there is a start delay or not, so basically the start delay has nothing at all to do with map editing. what u can do is set an event which has the peramiters of 'blue win' set on a time delay. where the time delay is the same length as the start delay. i hope that gelps a bit but it seems ur first question is different than ur first. i'm also curious as to why ur doing this, could u tell me? it sounds interesting good luck |

Its for a series of maps and when they are over you will see the winner driving by in a limo!
Ive separated the 2 spawnzones about 1500 mtrs from eachother and near the red and blue spawn theres a limo driving rounds. So they both think they see the opposing team in the limo. thx for yer help im gonna try it out directly Ill tell ya if it worked

Okay i have sorted out how it works thx for bringing me on the rightous (how you spell that? :-) ) path. you brought me kinda the solution Stevie.
Stupid that i didnt thought of it. It was kinda simple create a new event IF trigger = trigger type = group trigger condition = all intact trigger variables = (the group I used limo which is group 3) THEN ACTIONS = action type = Green (neutral) wins i slap myself for the head not thinking of this

LOL..Im totally confused what your trying to do. Frankly I'm just curiuos now. Is this a Df2 S&D game with the limo's as targets?

nope its just a map where you see the winner drive by in a limo. just for fun im looking for the attachment thingy but i cant find it as soon as i found that ill bring it on. So you can take a look at it and use it for yer own maps if you like.

btw its a BMS file
just unzip in your DF2 folder and look at it in your S&D multiplay Very important note SET STARTDELAY otherwise he ends as soon it starts

np lol you may host him but plz do not alter the map.
I myself dont alter maps that aint mine nor take the credit for it. So i want to ask all that down my maps to do the same.

To honestly tell you, I don't think this map will work right. Why? S&D maps are only 2 team games where either RED or BLUE has to win, there is NO green team win.
Also, is this a DF2 map or DF1? I converted it to a MIS file and there is no terrain selected. ????

Well there must have been gone sumthing wrong with converting or you dont have exp-pack. Il look what kinda terrain it is. And it is POSSIBLE wotking with events and NOT assigning the limos to red or blue. But to group 3 per example. Ill send you a email with the .mis file. Im sure it works cause i hosted it elready a few times. Itt will just end up in a draw. No offense but if you work for terranova you should know how it works in my opinion. Again no offense meant.

Seriously, I don't understand the problem, by rights it should show up in the editor, and if it did, and you put your items on it and saved it as both a mis file and a BMS file, then all should be ok. You don't have to pack any DFLW or DF2 maps that you want to add to the game, simply put them in the main DF FOLDER and the game will read them with no problems - unlike DF1.

And Arctic it is a DF2 map. I really dont know why you didnt had a terrain when you converted it. btw Is there coming a new DF2 EXP-pack? Just curious, something like a final expansion. did you got my .mis file?
