help with cod4

was woundering if any1 can help ive installed cod4 but everytime i click to play i get a message (it appears that cod4 did not quit properly last time ran do u want to run game in safe mode ) i got a new vid card only one i could find was a radeon 9250 diamond 256 mb just need help to figure this out any help would be appreciated thany you in advanced

do you click NO?

it shouldnt do it every time, but if you clicked YES then it might do it every time you load.

it'd be tempted to backup my profile and reinstall.

ive clicked yes no an cancel an still does it some1 told me i might need to update my vid card driver but im not sure

i updated my vid card an still doing it no idea about it im lost

Backup your profile or whatever, then do an uninstall, and reinstall.

When you uninstall, be sure to delete all contents of the CoD4 folder if any is left over. Then do a clean reinstall.

Remember to backup anything if you need to back up, like Steve said.

I got that as well with the demo.

but it kept saying that it had caused an error and had to close.
