PSU is making noise.

Of lately, my PSU has started to make a rattling noise at startup, but does not happen after a few restarts. Also, i have noticed, that most of the time it happens, when my external hdd is just above it and I boot it up. Is this because of some kind of electronic radiation between these two things?
