that was not was i getting at

he may help you still or point you in the right direction still

have to say you may have to gut the whole thing totally

i would say make a google home page be better

signup with google be a member and build a home page using "google page creator" after you sign-in you get a option to use it

but your system is disable from viewing images share in your system so it be really hard to tell how things lay out as you build it

Thats why i said LEARN css, and look at other peoples websites for inspiration and style, because (no offense), your page doesnt really co-ordinate very well.

I'd agree with the above, an easy tool to use would be sitespinner (google it)
but like map making have a plan of what you're telling the world.

So far you've told the world 'YOU HAVE A NICE FAMILY AND YOU'RE ZIT FREE'
But I don't get the copywright thing at the bottom......lol

BTW Google Page Creator is free, but I like my pages to be 100% W3C valid and I'm not sure if it does that.

I did take a look at your site once and right now I can't seem to get to it. I'll provide some input when I can.

I do remember (sort of) what it looks like but I won't say anything till I see it again.

I know a bit of HTML/XHTML and CSS and did it only in Notepad. I've kinda gone rusty at it now since I didn't really keep building on those skills, so it's something I have to go through again. If you're using a WYSIWYG editor, then it should be much easier.

My suggestion is to go to other websites and see how everything is put together. Stick with a certain theme and don't go overkill with the colours. So if you're going to use Arial font, use it for everything else (any other font should be for a very good reason). Stick to a few colours that really suit each other (e.g. this Tangy theme on the forums is a nice black/grey with an awesome orange - it isn't blue/yellow/pink/red and all over the place). The margins and padding are really spot on too.

1. Better formatting of paragraphs, such as in the About Me page - paragraphs that just run on and on are harder to read.

2. On your articles page, change the 2 articles you have over to HTML and have it part of your site. Once I saw they were DOC files I quit trying to read them as it is a possible security issue. Plus, not every one has word. Having them as an html file on your site will make it easier for every one to read.

3. Work on proper wording of sentences - "This page is my articles that I have written" on your articles page... its clunky, awkward to read. Better form would be "This page contains articles that I have written" or "Articles I have written"...

4. Add the <title></title> to your index page.

5. About me page - I was expecting to see info about your self, not what your upcoming schedule was... maybe setup an other page for future events, etc and then put your biography in the about me page.

6. Get a proper domain name. Really makes it your own website.

Much better - did you do the template or is it pre-defined?
