i got a call to replace some FDD's the other day. however i got to this and really couldn't figure out why it would not be working. maybe you can guess...

is that rust from water on it, maybe only thing i can think of it was in a bucket of water for a long time. look rusty as hell.

yeah my old pc's drive was 10 yrs old and it didnt have dust, just failed because it really was old

LoL i clean out my Pc every month due to the Dogs adn cats i got my fan for Radiators sometimes get blocked (VERY BAD)

one time my graphic cards were covered with bout 1/4 inch of dust that is when i decided to start cleaning it out


I love compressed air and a vacum
