Linksys G router question...
I've a Linksys G router with Superboost.
Every night I shut down my desktop and laptops. DSL (AT&T & Yahoo) modem and router stays on. Next morning when I turn the laptop Net works fine. However, desktop gets disconnected. I've to power cycle modem and router. Then have to connect the desktop directly to the modem and pull up default site on browser. Connect the router back to modem and desktop to routes. It works fine. Any ideas why in the world it is doing that? Does Linksys N router does the same? Edit: firmware for the router is as updated as it can be. well for me sometimes it takes it a minute to connect, and it's done (when i first boot up my computer)
my brother says he gets connection instantly when he turns on his computer your not getting any connection at all? when it says disconnected look in the wireless network connections and see if your network is there another weird thing is sometimes my computer decides to connect to my neighboors network (their wireless and unsecure lol)
