Important Skrarge

A youngster asked me this evening whilst viewing a game I was demonstrating, who "skrarge" was.

I thought others might be curios as to the origin, as I often am of other peeps Avatar and Handle names myself.

It's the name I gave to a repulsive humanoid alien mercenary I concocted for Quake III.

I now use skrarge's name for an Avatar if playing Quake Online.

As for map making have you been to the www.quake hotel?
have you ever remodeled your computer study to 1 foot = 1 inch scale ?

Yes I got bored with Quake and it's senseless and endless surprise surprise, even at my (lowly) level, the brats were down rating themselves to get in and somersault macro their way to the top of the newbie class. "Quake Online" Still it was a good concept not having to own the game to play, the servers do it all.

Ok Stomp make us a map of your favourite Quake 3 level,
you can use the .env file to bring the light down to q3 level
and a few teleport tricks or unhide the red team..etc etc

Can't get GTK Radiant to behave. Tried several former versions, the only Radiant I can operate at the moment is the UnrealEd 2.0 "UnrealTournament" version.

Like moviemaking gamemaking is NO different, make one simple map, then another, then another, put them together and YOU are done.....EASY

BEGGINING..................MIDDLE................. .............END

Please forget all this off topic Cr@p with extra wav files, please stay on target and get one map out, that gets a mid range review, you aint selling a car here so you don't have
to impress anyone.................yet.
In my opinion you need to work on player spawn, waypoint control, ai visabilty
and thats all at this stage see I didn't say weather, vehicules, facial gestures, excess wav files, or even a custom pcx.................yet

But I get paid to do it at work. "Money" A great motivator.

Concentration and time are the 2 main factors inhibiting my progression with the MED.

I had a dream once where there universe was created by a giant MED

All things could be called up or created instantly and in multiple iterations.
