ok buying a new tower [bare bone kit] 2/25/06

tell the truth of the matter not really, trying to get the fool thing to run right, tested out my old HHD 40GB found out first to see whats is going on found out i have to redo the 300GB, so it will run right with this Hard ware system. (Blue screen of death)

i taken a slave cable turn it backward to the end hookup to the mother broad connect to the HD then the slave part of it kookup to the DVD/CD Writer.

have to get the Adapter for IDE working for the rest of the DVD rom and the other Cd witer.

i had a good old time, should seen my Grayhound he did not what to me near me i was losing my cool.

going to hold back till i get the new Windows Xp Cd in then redo the 300GB HD.

what a hell of a day it been. will i got it running at lease not they way i was hoping.

can't set the gamma or color setting, running off the MOB

it ok, my tech says i need to redo it totally its the way he got it to work in the first place, my old tower taken a crap so he forumated it in a way, they new MOB don't know how to handle it, the way its setup.

i have no chance i have to instill windows Xp so it will work 100% windows 2000 pro don't cut it......... something to do DOD of something. i upgrade it be fins i have to wait till i get the new windows xp CD in

will i got something to work on the MOB sounds system sucks, it cutting off and on when i play a dvd ether from the DVD/CD writer tray of from the Hard drive. freaking ever 2min sounds play then cut off for 2-5sec. think i have to see if there a update on that now, got the GFX system on MOB going some what good.

SW synth is were the sound go throu to if i hit the mute it cut off, but this is nuts was it action there no joy in this at all. can't even enjoy a DVD movie

Heck the new tower may need to be checked because sometimes they sell stuff with problems so u have to send it back for them to find out what it is?Did the sound system come in it if so id have them come and check it out or let them know cause like i said the tower may have sound issues.I do know if u have a motherboard sound card if you blow it up then ur f***** so u have to rebuy a tower or hope u got a warranty.My sound would not work for some time on mine and i never figured out what is was so we restored everything completely and i guess it was corrupted files so try redoing everything on your computer again it might help.Note i meant by that i fixed mine after redoing everything on my computer meaning restoring it all.

will i really think the MOB is OK, only the "SW synth" is crap its don't have anything good about it, hell my Sb-Live sound card is 1000x better then what is on the MOB.

will i have to live with it for me, till maybe end of the year buy a really good sound card that will work with this MOB, my old one would not work at all, the system hardware manager did not even seen the SND card at all. weird

man i got downloading new updating the: Bois, audio,video. on the MOB man Intel don't make the download easy to find at all, talk about wasting 45min searching for the newer version updates for this mother broad.

anyways i added my MOB info in my sig box, this all so support duel core 64bit chips too

just Set teh clock rate to what the cpu is supposed to be at and you should be fine

the only thing from that pic is the fan speed

My brothers computers Intel chip fan is always bout 2500 keeping the cpu Temp inder 35*C

will i think my is a 4 wire hookup type, means there should be control to adjust the speed of it? i don't know were to adjust it at all?

How big is your fan if it is 60 mm-80mm you should Upgrade to a 120mm It will coll your CPU more and did you use thermal paste when you put cpu on or did it come pre-installed?

yep i did use the thermal paste it came with only i think it was old as the hills.
