special spawns

well, i made a CQB map and i found that in it people does respawn in the same point where they die, it's pretty wild!!!
but the concern is that i didnt do it on pourpose, it's been just a case, and now i would like to know how to switch on and off this feature in my maps.....
sorry i didn post it in DFLW Map Editing, there isn't ne1 in that channel!!!!

it means u added the wrong type pf spawns or added no spawn points at all.

iirc (and this is going back about 3 years), you cannot use the 'mp' spawns.

yeah just put spawn points in, if you have spawn where you die its because you didnt add spawn points.

i had a look back to my map and found that i used "Primary" spawns; SO: whats the difference between "start, AnyTeam" and "start, Primary, AnyTeam"???

I think the Primary, Start ones are used when the map is first loaded, or when a player first joins the server.

After that the start, any team will be used. If start, any team doesn't exist, then you just spawn where you die.

Thats exactly what the start primary markers do, and its too bad that cant be a setting instead that can be toggled on or off or set to change halfway through a map.
