Now there's a good question, lets make it a poll......

Pentium. I prefer quality of build to anything else, and lets be honest, who can notice the speed difference, especially with HT. (oh man, now there's a flame waiting to explode!!...lol)

well ive always been with AMD, works great, but ive heard that AMD is good for focusing on 1 task, while an intel is good for multi-tasking..

HP isnt a processor, i suppose he saw something like HP 2400 XP on a website.. (thats my old pc a HP with a AMD 2400 in it)

I have read some things about intel that I don't like (unfortunitly I forget where I got it from).

But intel was working on/ is a part of some kind of hardware-based security feature. It could make it where a word document written on my computer may not be read by BB.

Also, I read a legal document by amd against intel... based on that document, intels business practices are worse then Microsoft's.

according to the documents, intel will penalize stores if they sell a certain amount of AMD processors -> can be read about here: http://www.amd.com/us-en/Weblets/0,,...?redir=CORBF02 just click the blue, underlined text that says "Complaint"

Any ways, because of reading that Intel has really dropped in my view.

i have had both intel, and amd, AMD personally is better for mulit tasking, and i have seen mulittasking with both, intel starts to get laggy, and it does not take much to use up all the CPU usuage, as with AMD, i can run five programs and see no difference.

Intel is slightly better for multitasking because of HT. And pretty much owns encoding video. But AMD owns everything else and is coming up quick to take over video.

I've been with AMD 100% except I once owned a PII 450Mhz for my first computer. If someone wants me to build an intel based computer i'll tell em I can't do it

Smile Good Choice

Hey guys

Thanks for responding to my thread which I couldnt find so I went to Hotmail but I would go with AMD considering I have not voted on my poll yet but nowadays you see big P4 Dual 3.4 Ghz processors but it feels as though that AMD is GROWING out of fashion but it has never let me down, unless cause it is something else.

Also Jeff HP is Hewlett Packard but keep the voting going because it shows you have a reputation on this thread. Go to www.novaworlds.com If you guys want to cause you may love it.
