Right... ive got a ADSL Connection coming from BT (512 up 256 down) its on a router connection with my old pc , but its never on... recently its got really slow, if i download things the speed will be around 50KBsec and then goes down and if i use DAP it keeps the speed steady at 56KBsec.. should it be going that far down? (Im in Northern ireland , less that 1 Mile away from the Provider...)

you could check to see if you have any viruses and ad-aware, spyware in your system they do slow your connection speed and down and eat up a lot of your system memory's ADSL it download faster and upload faster only one thing your can get a lot of trash all so.

5.) HiJackthis Tool to use in the Wilderssurity.com forum tech support

all items are free to use no change to get the fix's you need.
you can bit that you speed should be a bet faster all them ads aware crap is gone you see that your speed is better, and pages load up faster to boot. oh they all can tell you if you have a virus with the HiJackThis.exe .
