Post Question ?

I have a question before buying the game.

I have a Pent IV 3Ghz, 20GB DDR HD, ATI Raedon 9800 128MB Pro, 56K modem

Now I understand that running a 56K modem on a multiplayer game is asking for trouble, but I have no choice and other games seem to cope ok albeit a little laggy.

I played the first Joint Ops Demo and was pretty impressed.

Played the second and now it's pretty much stuffed. Running is nigh on impossible as the screen jerks all over the place. I have to crouch-walk or crawl to get anywhere. I want to buy the game but it's not worth it if it isn't going to run on my PC.

What is causing this problem?

Is still worth buying?

Would very much appreciate some help.

Regards

i can't explain the screen jerks, your system should certainly be able to handle the JO graphics.

as for the modem... you could try coop play with 1 or 2 friends, but i don't see any chance for a game with more players

Thanks for the replies.

I don't think it's the RAM. Have 1 GB. Tried all settings on the lowest and doesn't seem to make a difference. Have the latest ATI drivers.

Haven't played with the more technical options. Just the easy low, high, very high selection sort of stuff. I don't really understand all the technical stuff so I don't play with it.

?
