Plasma or LCD Television?
I am considering buying a plasma television for Christmas but I've hard that the picture quality of LCD televisions is at least as good?
Do any you guys out there in NovaHQ world have either a plasma or lcd tv and can let me know which you think is the best buy? Warm Regards Steve/Baddog |

get LCD, plasma is sooooo over rated, plus plasma's go out after 5-7 years, and for their price i think thats quite worthless since its the most valuable part of it

Get a High Definition LCD tele, dont go for just LCD - people are switching over to HD teles in next 10years or so, so its well worth being HD Ready as you will have the best picture around !

big LCD = pants (expensive)
Plasma = much better (cheaper than LCD and dropping fast) HD LCD = much much better (expensive) normal LCD tv's have a too small resolution so look bad on a big screen and cost a lot more than plasmas. plasmas have a great picture and are cheaper than LCD's but still cost a lot more than a normal TV. High Definition LCD is the way to go but it is relatively new in the UK. this is the future of tv, digital tv will start transmitting HD TV soon. check out your local Dixons, they will probably have a 60" HD LCD screen at the front of the store. the image is incredibly sharp even at that size and just ignore the £6,999 price tag |

i seen some running in the store i don't see it being better then a monitor with a normal Picture tub to me it look 100% clearer, then any flat screen monitor looks.
i keep a normal Picture tub monitor any day. they look fuzzy to me not as clear at all. only one that do look sharp is the HD-TV. many Groghic card to day support HD-Tv to be hookup to them now.

i was lookin at prices the other night, and fancied buying meself a 28" LCD after xmas, but they're too expensive for me so im gonna settle for a 28" flat screen digital tele instead... still better than most =)
