My Dad doesn't drink to get drunk. And back then he didn't drink at all. I'm 31 now that was when I was about 14/15. Yea, I know what you're thinking, Trojan wasn't a bad guy? He hung out with a Preachers Son, hehehe.

Yes it was, the only northern state that hadn't flat out outlawed slavery long before the civil war was new jersey with only 18 slaves in 1860. The south had upwards of 4,000,000 in 1860 as well. 33% of southerners owned slaves, and less than 1% of northerners did.

The civil war was about slavery. If slavery hadn't been an issue, there would have been no war.
