Because of the age of this early NovaLogic game, you may have issues with newer windows systems.

If you follow this method it will be relatively pain free and application compatibility settings will not be needed.


Install DF2 but change the installation folder to C: Games Novalogic or something similar.

This is because the directories Program Files and Program Files (x86) can hamper or even block some older programs from running.

Next, install the AK-47 MOD but you must make sure the MOD installs to the same folder you installed the game to.


NOTE
At this point - Do Not try to link to DF2_AK-47.exe, to run the MOD you must still start the game with DF2.exe


To do this make a short-cut on your desktop to DF2.exe,

Then open the short-cut properties (right click) and add /d to the target data as in the following example...

"Novalogic\Delta Force 2\Df2.exe" /d
