Definately better than XP and like I said I think it is more stable than XP.

Yeah i remember some of my games wouldn't install, but that could just be bad timing that my dvd drive bagan to play up.

Just "acquired" Windows 7 RTM Build 7600.
Haven't tried it yet but all the reviews look promising.
I'll have to find a spare hard drive to try it on.

windows vista free upgrade to windows 7 really cheap price tag around USD-120.00 below Home version and not a upgrade disc ether.

think the upgrade disc windows vista to windows 7 was under USD-80.00

I was going to get one free from school but I dropped my CS class because I have too much going on this semester. When you do that they remove you from the MSDNAA program.

I got windows xp pro and vista business for free from it.

if it aint broke don't fix it!!!!!!

i ran the beta for windows 7 and currently running the release canadate
and its extreamly stable...you can turn the UAC off if your a home user
cause you dont need all that corporate security... if you have kids
you can use UAC and parrental controles to restrict thier internet use
and when and how long they can be on the computer or internet
and it does make XP turn pale and the release is set for oct 22 its even in the commercials

and also BHD joe dfx and dfx2 run fine on w7

2 days w00t, I just ordered the $30 upgrade too, so I will have Windows 7 Pro and Windows 7 Ultimate, I can set up a domain controller now if I want w00t
